Fast Broken Bone Healing Protocol

Broken Hand Bone Broken Hand Bone

With a little help broken bones can heal much faster than doctors say. I once told this to my boss over 30 years ago, long before I knew much about health at all. I did know something as I had the interest even then. I had read several health related books, mostly Adel Davis. Turns out my mentor was reading her at the same time. A lot has changed since then, but still my boss healed in half the time.

Actually, his doctor was flabbergasted. It was a clean break, but he has said that it would take ten weeks or so. Five weeks later Dave asked for an X-ray, but the doc said that would be impractical as they would have to take the cast off and there’s no way it was healed yet.

Dave went fishing a couple of days later and the cast got destroyed. On Monday he had to insist on an X-ray before being casted up again. The doc said that the only way he could find the bone fracture was because he knew where it was!

My arm had a multiple fracture that was supposed to take 16 weeks to heal, and 3 months before I could start exercising it more than just a little. It took 8 weeks, and two months after the break I was working with 20 pounds, a good amount for me in general.

I got started on the supplements a little late. Ideally one would take them before the break, but that’s pretty hard to plan. The earlier you can get started on them the better because a lot happens right after any serious injury.

The Right Form Of Calcium
One of the most important things is to have a good supply of bio-available calcium which means its been ionized. That happens in the presence of strong hydrochloric acid (HCl) in the stomach. Most people don’t produce enough HCl to do this, so you’ll need to take supplements. There’s a problem though.

Eliminating H. Pylori
One thing HCl does is sterilize the contents of the stomach — nature’s way of protecting us from pathogens. Without that a very common bacteria that causes ulcers takes hold. It is now very easy to eliminate H. Pylori by drinking two cups of Brassica Tea a day for 10 days. It’s really good for you, so get a little extra if you can.

Most people can work on getting rid of the bacteria and take the HCl at the same time, as long as there’s no history of an ulcer. But, it’s pretty uncomfortable for those who can’t though, so it might be worth drinking the tea first. If you do take the HCL and it burns the stomach then take some baking soda to neutralize and drink the tea for 10 days before trying again.

Eliminating H. Pylori was researched at Johns Hopkins University, they discovered the way to eliminate it with an antioxidant found in cruciferous vegetables like broccoli and Brussels sprouts. Here’s where you can get the Brassica Tea that has that is rich in that antioxidant.

You can get the betaine HCl at most health food stores, or get the one from Standard Process.

Herbs For Pain And Healing
My experience with the recommended herbs is that they really helped with the pain. And, they aid in the healing process as well.

Most of the supplements are from Standard Process, some of the best supplements in the world. They distribute the MediHerb products too. Both can be found online, but they aren’t supposed to be. I can get them for 20 percent off if you like, better than online. I’ll send you an email for that discount if you like.

BONE HEALING PROTOCOL
Take supplements with food and herbs on an empty stomach — two hours after eating to an hour before eating. Both with food is much easier to remember and fine to do, but separate the herbs if you can.

Betaine HCl: 1200 mg when you eat (except very small snacks which are best skipped anyway.)
Biost: three twice a day
Calcifood: six wafers or one tablespoon power twice a day for two weeks then three wafers or one half tablespoon power twice a day.
CalMa Plus: three twice a day
Whole Dessicated Spleen: three twice a day
Vitamin D: 5000 units a day — make sure there is some fat in the meal you take vitamin D with.

The above are the main supplements. I thought I’d break if for those who may be on a budget. Get these if you can.

Ostrophin PMG: three twice a day — really cool stuff, tells the bone to rebuild on a DNA level.
Cataplex F: two am, one pm. This is especially important if you don’t eat fish or take fish oils regularly.

Herbs
Echinacea Premium: two tabs or 4mL am, one tab or 4mL pm
Ginko: two tabs or 2mL am, one tab or 1mL pm

I prefer the liquid herbs because they are more cost effective and because tasting the herbs increases the efficacy. If you get the tabs because you don’t like the taste, try to suck on them long enough to just taste before swallowing. Even a little can help a lot.

There’s the basics of how to heal a broken bone quickly. I hope you recover well with no after effects from your injury.

Neck Pain, Woke Up With A Stiff Neck

A few days ago I woke up with a pretty good case of neck pain. Obviously I had slept some way that left me with a sore and stiff neck. I wasn’t concerned too much because that’s what I do, fix body issues like that. Well was I in for a surprise. Here’s what happened.

When I first woke up I noticed right away that my neck was really sore. It actually hurt to move in many directions. I knew that not only was the neck out of alignment, but that at least the top three or four ribs on that side were out of alignment as well. So, I quickly adjusted the neck and top ribs, only takes a minute or two for those areas.

Almost no change at all.

I was really surprised. So, I got up, took care of some things then worked on it again a little later. Then some more later. And some more.

Finally! After a couple of days of working on it and remembering a couple of simple therapies I got everything feeling right. Here’s what I learned, or at least relearned.

Healers of all types are their own worst diagnosticians. I knew this from earlier experience, just had to learn it again. If I had a client with the same issues that I had, they would have been completely out of pain within an hour, no problem.

The problem with working on myself is that somehow I forget the most simple things. Focusing on a client I can quickly and easily allow the answers to show themselves. I guess I get in my own way somehow. At least I was able to work on all the right things, it just took longer.

The particulars of what were needed to get rid of my neck pain are really the basics of what I would do for most any sore neck. They are not in any particular order at all. For example, the adjustment is almost always last, but there have been exceptions, at least in my experience. Normally I let the body tell me what to do and when.

Adjustment
Most of the time an adjustment will be needed. Not always, but often enough that I consider it essential as long as it can be tolerated. Also, the neck is usually very easy to gently self adjust. Sometimes there can be neck pain relief even if there are some minor misalignments.

Heat
This can be very important. Massage can give the same benefit, but at times there is nothing like a hot bath or a heat pack to really soften the muscles.

What happens is that the muscles can be so tight that they pull a joint right back out of alignment, even with a strong adjustment like you might get at the chiropractor. Heat can easily soften a neck enough to allow an adjustment to take as well as giving relief from the pain.

Caution: If the pain is sharp, or there is an injury that involved some kind of impact, then ice should be used for 24 to 48 hours before applying heat.

Massage
Massage is a great way to relieve almost any muscle pain. There is a style for just about any need. Here’s a good one for most neck pain.

Emotions
Emotional components are like a bit of an emotion, or the energy of an emotion. They can get stuck in different parts of the body. When they do, they usually cause some physical issue. For example, they can cause a muscle to tighten which can pull a joint out of alignment.

These emotions can be removed from the body with techniques like Neuro-Emotional Technique, or The Emotion Code — a fairly new technique that I really like. Once the emotion is cleared from the area the adjustment can usually be done with success, and usually with less effort.

There are many other possible treatments for neck pain, but this will help the most common stiff neck. Just don’t take two days to do them all like I did.

Depression, Panic Attacks And Brain Chemistry

Depression Depression

One of my favorite things to work with in the human body is brain chemistry because resolving it often resolves a lot of other issues because an imbalance can cause several issues. The most common are depression and panic states though other conditions can arise from it. This article will explore emotional stress and how it affects brain chemistry.

It Starts With Stress
The human body can be stressed by its environment, toxins, diet, thoughts, emotions, stress, relationships, the way we think of ourselves and more. When an animal body, including and especially humans, is exposed to stress an instinctual fight or flight reaction happens. This reaction causes a cascade of chemicals to release so the danger can be dealt with. The problem is that most people in today’s world experience more of this in a year than our ancestors did in 60 or more years. And, this impacts the brain and its chemistry.

Hypothalamus Degeneration
One of the things that happens is a degeneration of the hypothalamus, at the base of the brain near other important glands like the pituitary. In fact, it often shrinks. This leads to more serious conditions than a simple chemical imbalance. Many scientists are starting too suspect that there is a connection to Alzheimer’s. One of the biochemists I study with asserts that this is the case as well as causing other mental degenerative conditions.

How This Happens
The reason for this is that when emotions are experienced the impact on the body is through the hypothalamus. Emotions cause the hypothalamus to release of small signaling proteins, an amino acid peptide. These neuropeptides have a very strong affect on the body, especially when there is a steady stream of them. This and other factors affect the brain as well as other systems in the body in a negative way. Short term would be fine, we’re designed to deal with that, it’s the constant flood of stress that causes the eventual problems.

Causes
The specific issue that a person may experience is dependent of a lot of things. Genetics, toxicity, upbringing, culture, diet and other issues cause a particular path of dis-ease. This can be depression, dementia, panic attacks or a general feeling of panic, even basic behaviour.

The Adrenal Connection
This is all in addition to adrenal fatigue which happens because the adrenals produce hormones to help the body deal with stress. Eventually they grow weak and compensate by delivering fewer hormones and in less quantity. If it gets bad enough they stop producing the hormones that regulate sodium and potassium, the only tests that doctors typically have for adrenal fatigue. This is well beyond simple adrenal fatigue symptoms, heading quickly towards death.

The body’s reaction to stress is what leads to adrenal fatigue as well as other serious conditions. There’s even more to the story of neuropeptides and the problems excess amounts cause. Little is known by the medical community about the connection to stress, adrenal fatigue and brain chemistry though they are starting to figure it out. Fortunately there are holistic practitioners that have found solutions to some of these problems. I’ll cover those in later articles or perhaps a book.

Natural Treatment For Depression

If you are looking for natural treatment for depression then this is for you. One simple addition to your life, an hour and a half a week, and you can have a 69 percent chance of eliminating depression. What is this simple formula?

Exercise. Yes, exercise. Studies show that brisk exercise three times a week brings long term relief to suffers of depression. The exercise used was walking or light jogging. You can see the report here.

How hard is that? You can always call a friend, go for a walk together. Companionship has also been shown to help alleviate depression.

And, if you were to add a few supplement and change your diet a little, the chances of rapid recovery are likely to greatly increase.

And, that’s not all.

Exercise is one of the most important things you can do for your health. It has been shown again and again to reduce the chances of a major illness like cancer and heart disease as well as to extend life. The human body is designed to walk for long periods of time. That is how our ancestors survived, so that is our heritage. Embrace it and live a long and healthy life.

Isn’t it worth it to live a long, healthy and happy life? Such a simple thing to bring so many benefits. This could never be put in a pill.
